Fair Plan for BlackBerry
The Boost Unlimited Blackberry plan at $60/month is the best value in any BlackBerry plan offered in the U.S. at the moment and with no contract it was a sweet deal that I couldn’t pass up. My contract with Sprint ended, and I decided to switch.
Slow and hard to use
I received this phone within two days of ordering it … hard to get it activated … had to call provider to show me a back end way to activate it. Took three attempts to “provision” it to work.
Great phone, but Boost Mobile customer service lacks. Very hard to talk to a human being. The 800# is like being on a merry-go-round. Unless you’re setting up your service. And online access gives little opions.
This phone is the greatest! I owned several touch-screen phones in the past, but none of them compared to the Blackberry! It is reliable and dependable! make sure you get a memory card with it though, so you can save your pics and such. The only issue I had, which isn’t a huge issue, is that there is no timer on the camera for taking pictures. My other phones had a timer and I could take my own pics by setting up the phone to 30 seconds and having it snap them. But I absolutely love this phone.
nice blackberry i just got from amazon
i like my phone but i was told at a boost store it was a two way in it why they don’t have a blackberry from boost they better have a few new phones with 2way in it . i want to see a blackberry phone with 3G to 4G plus 2way or something like a EVO that can do 3G or 4G with 2way and 2 prices on service 45 for 1000 minutes or 60 for free everything . boost use to be 2way phones now they are getting out of the 2way thing is bull and boost needs to give more opions on their phones than people like to use .
it is what it is
its a good phone for its purpose, it has an excellent keyboard, the battery life isnt bad as long as you arent running a thousand things, and the screen quality is good for its age, in my opinion the web browser is a little slower, but really its not unbearably slow it works decently quick, of course you also have to consider how well sprints signal is in your area, but with this phone you are going to end up spending more each month for a phone service thats not as capable as a newer android phone (which you can find cheaper now in some instances) i do like the shape and feel of the phone its built well, i think the track ball is cool its like a mouse in the web browser, i have heard of people having trouble with the track ball, my track ball has worked well, they do have replacement track ball kits available that are easy to install, all in all its a nice little phone
Freezes, crappy internet
It freezes, and had bad internet. Other than that, I love it. The keyboard, email, and facebook are addicting! I’m considering updating to a better service/model.
I absolutely love my blackberry BUT my stupidity about the coverage map for Boostmobile IDEN vs. CDMA has me without service at my home. So I am not using it unless I am going to be in an area with service for a while (which works fantastic!). This BB is wonderful with or without service. It is very good quality and robust 😀 I have dropped it maybe 20x since I bought this last August and there is not one scratch or glitch!! It came with everything I need for it and even a 1GB sd card in it 🙂 takes amazing pictures & holds a lot of ringtones, songs, pics and vids.
Less than par.
Having previously owned Blackberry’s I thought this phone would be a cheap replacement until the 9310 came out… I was dead wrong. Upon arriving, the the scroll ball was already coming loose from the phone and the phone froze often. I could hardly use it, not to mention it has a odd sized charger so if I left my charger at home or in the car, I couldn’t use anyone elses which resulted in me having a dead battery a lot of the time. Don’t buy this product, I’d opt for the 9310.
The battery was red and couldnt charge, so l bought a new battery for $45.00 and the phone still does not charge, the phone does not let me download apps and it cost me $175.00 so far”I could make phone calls “. Thanks for nothing, I will not be making any more donations through Amazon. Dont reply unless its for reinbursement!
